Want to get involved? There are lots of ways!
We’re Looking for New Board Members!
Do you care about community, connection, and making a real local impact? The ELHI Community Center is seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors.
Whether you bring skills in leadership, finance, fundraising, or simply a heart for service—we’d love to hear from you. Help guide our mission and support programs that strengthen Ignacio families and youth.
The ELHI Community Center is proud to introduce our amazing team of Board Members, Staff, and Tenants!
Our Board Members are tenants, business owners, and community members who play an essential role in ELHI’s operations. The board is made up of 5–7 dedicated individuals and is always looking for fresh ideas, energy, and insight.
If you have a heart for ELHI’s mission — “to bring our community together by providing safe, affordable spaces for learning, growth, and wellbeing” — and believe in our vision to “foster resilience, collaboration, and sustain critical services in Ignacio,” you might be a perfect fit!
Interested in joining us? Download an application or stop by the office for a visit. We’d love to tell you more about the ELHI Community Center
Other ways to get Involved
Volunteer.
Whether you have community hours you need to complete or you would like a community project to work on, let us know. With our needs at the ELHI and the organizations within our four walls, we can work on completing your hours or finding a project in your wheelhouse. Contact us today for how you can get involved.
Donate.
Do you have any services, goods or money you would like to donate to the community center? Call us and we may be able to find a home or use for your donation. With in-kind donations, we can provide individuals or organizations with donation receipts for your taxes. Thank you for thinking of us and we appreciate you giving to the ELHI and our tenants.
Ask us.
We are always striving for new ways to engage with the community. If you have an idea or want to be involved with some of our upcoming events, let us know. We can always use an extra hand or can be a listening ear for ideas that could benefit our community.
Your support means everything to us and our community. Thank you!
